Hello Clarc users, both new and old! If you've been considering migrating your data to Clarc but are unsure about how to proceed, don't worry. This blog will guide you through the process of exporting data from your current platform and importing it into Clarc.

Workflow Max Data to Clarc

There has been a surge in queries from WorkflowMax users regarding data transfers between the two platforms. The following aims to provide a comprehensive guide on importing exported data. Moreover, Clarc offers support for importing data from different platforms, encompassing data of the same type.

Exporting Data from WorkflowMax:

1.  In the Business menu, select Subscription.

2. On the Subscription screen, Export tab, select Export, and then confirm,

3. Your data will be exported as an XML file in a downloadable zip file and sent to your email address.

4. When you receive the "WorkflowMax Export"  email, click the link to download your data.

Importing Your Data to Clarc:

1. Once logged in, click the circle icon with you initials in it on the top right corner of the screen, select Admin Settings.

2. From the left hand side menu, select Data Management.

3. You will then be able to upload your data from WorkflowMax or others as CSV or Excel files to Clarc.

4. Alternatively, you can send your data files directly to admin@clarc.co or customersuccess@clarc.co

Step 1: Preparing for the Move from other Existing Platform

Before exporting data from your current platform, ensure that your data is clean, organized, and ready for migration. This step can involve:

Ensuring data consistency: Make sure that dates, names, and other pieces of information are uniform across your dataset. Removing duplicate data: Duplicate data can create confusion and inaccuracies.

Deleting unnecessary data: You only want to import relevant and necessary data into Clarc.

Step 2: Exporting Your Data

Each platform has a different method of exporting data. Here is a general approach:

Locate the export function: This is usually found in the "settings" or "account" section.

Select the data you want to export: Some platforms allow you to choose which data to export.

Export the data: Most platforms will export your data into a CSV or Excel file, which you can save on your computer.

Step 3: Preparing & Importing Your Data for Clarc

With your data formatted correctly and saved in the right file type, you're now ready to import it into Clarc. Follow these steps:

Navigate to the import data section: This can found in your account settings.

Upload your file: Locate the file on your computer and upload it.

Use AI Integration to Import Data: Entrust the work to our intelligent AI system. Following your upload, our dedicated customer success team will fine-tune the imported data. Please note that it may take up to 24 hours for the data to be visible in your account
